@Claudia I'm just paying micro.blog for this blog, which cross posts to its own ActivityPub feed and to a Mastodon account on a personal instance I'm running on a VPS.

@docsane I see replies in my Micro.blog timeline!
For now, if anything is actually urgent, rym@frontrowcrew.com is still the best way to actually get ahold of me. But I'll see these replies, and at some point I'll have a real Mastodon primary account ;)
@Claudia I may not use this service forever. I also expect to host additional services on the domain. The root will probably be a static page that serves as a sort of “business card”
@docsane I've been thinking on that. Integrate it closely with the forum, see if anyone else wants sub-forums or something broader.
First I'm gonig to set up a personal Mastodon on rym.social to test everything out.
@docsane I'm working on my full structure, but most likely I'll make primary posts here, and also when I have a separate Mastdon on my own domain IT will also cross-post here (which in turn will crosspost to the Mastodon feed that this site provides).
I want to make it as easy as possible for everyone who weirdly cares what I have to say about things =P
@noah Oh hey will you look at that!
@docsane Everything except the random "last days" shitposting direct to twitter. Over time I plan to mirror everything I post anywhere here.
@nacobjacob Eventually I plan to fully roll my own, but in the short term micro.blog is gonna make an easy transition ;)
@Rym Fascinating. Embedding a tweet in Markdown works just fine on the micro.blog, but it does NOT embed back into twitter except as text.
@Rym Oooh a reply to my own thread. Newlines don't translate to Twitter very well, but how will this look?
